How can I get a personal e-mail address?

    > To obtain a university email address, fill out and sign the "Personal E-Mail Request Form" shared in the link and send it via email to bidb@mersin.edu.tr or submit it in person to the IT Department during office hours.

    > In the Student Area section, you must write your student number.

    > Afterwards, you need to activate the email address provided to you in order to use it.

How can I activate my email address?

    > Using your provided email address and password, go to mail.mersin.edu.tr or navigate through the "Student" tab and click the "Student E-Mail Login" link to proceed to the login screen.

    > Enter your details on the login screen and click the "Login" button.

    > Fill in all the fields completely except for the If available: Student Affairs B.S. Username" field, and proceed.

    > Enter your "Date of Birth" in Day/Month/Year format and your "Phone Number" without the leading "0"..

    > After clicking "Save" enter the verification code sent via SMS in the relevant field to proceed.

    > Check the option "I have read and accept the above Usage Policies" and continue.

    > After clicking "Accept" on the Google terms of use page, your email address will be activated.
